Navy men's track and field junior distance runner Steve Schroeder (Monticello, Ill.) led the Mids at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational with a new 3000-meter field house record time of 7:58.61 on Saturday. Schroeder's time broke Navy graduate Cody Rome's ('12) previous field house record by 8.9 seconds, which was previously set on Feb. 20, 2011.
