Seven teams from Loyola University Maryland were honored this week by the NCAA for being in the top-10 percent of their respective sports in the most recent multi-year tracking of the Academic Progress Rate (APR).

Loyola University Maryland hosted its annual Athletics Awards Banquet on Monday night, honoring student-athletes for academic, athletic and community achievements.

Loyola University Maryland had 61 student-athletes named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll during the fall 2013 season.

Loyola University Maryland will host a celebration of women and their contributions to, and ongoing participation in, athletics on February 23, 2014, when the Greyhounds' women's basketball team will host Colgate University.
