After winning its first three meets of the season, the Navy men’s cross country team will face some of the top teams in the nation at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Friday in South Bend, Indiana.

Navy men’s cross country junior Ryan McCoy (New Glarus, Wis.) earned M-F Athletic Patriot League Runner of the Week honors, which was announced by the league office on Monday.

All five of the Navy men’s cross country team scoring runners placed in the top five for a perfect first-place finish at the Maryland-Eastern Shore Invite on Saturday. Navy’s five scoring runners finished within 0:00.14 seconds of one another.

After back-to-back first place finishes, the Navy men’s cross country team will look to continue its winning ways at the Maryland-Eastern Shore invite on Saturday following the finish of the women’s race, which begins at 10:30 a.m.
