Claire Lawson finished 64th overall to lead McDaniel at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational. Racing in just the 4,000-meter race, the Green Terror finished 19th out of the 40 teams in the race with 221 points.

Avalon McOmber finished 100th to lead McDaniel to a 10th-place showing at the Salty Dog Invitational hosted by Navy.

Avalon McOmber finished third in the 5K and sixth in the 3K to lead McDaniel at its own Green Terror Challenge.

Avalon McOmber finished 13th overall to lead McDaniel to a second-place finish at the annual Baltimore Metro Meet. As a team, the Green Terror finished second among the four Division II and Division III teams with 71 points.

McDaniel College has announced its Dean s List from the Spring 2014 semester and 117 Green Terror student-athletes qualified for the honors.

Becky Kaler, a senior on the women s cross and field and track and field teams, was named to the Capital One Academic All-District II Division III cross country/track and field first team.

At the annual award ceremonies that McDaniel College holds each spring, 18 Green Terror student-athletes were among the honorees.

McDaniel student-athletes are often involved in community service activities. On Sunday, Apr. 27, two area events garnered the attention and support of many of the Green Terror teams.

McDaniel men s and women s cross country teams were named All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
